ASMI introduces sales awards to recognise industry best practice ‘front of shop’ in pharmacy channel

11 September 2014- The Australian Self Medication Industry (ASMI) is partnering with specialist pharmacy research company, Industry Pulse, to establish awards recognising sales excellence among its over-the-counter (OTC) and complementary medicine members in the pharmacy channel.

The awards, which will be presented at the ASMI Diamond Awards Dinner on 18 November, 2014, will be split by turnover, recognising both large and small organisations.
ASMI will recognise best practice on two fronts - 'overall winners' - which will aggregate all satisfaction metrics as voted by retail pharmacy, as well as recognising companies that excel in 'promoting Quality Use of Medicines in pharmacy' - through initiatives such as sales representative knowledge and focus on pharmacy staff product training.
