ASMI congratulates Belinda Wood: CEO GMiA

18 December 2014 - The Australian Self Medication Industry (ASMI) today congratulated Belinda Wood on her appointment as the Chief Executive of the Generic Medicines Industry Association (GMiA).

ASMI Executive Director, Dr Deon Schoombie, welcomed Belinda Wood to her new role saying: "ASMI congratulates Belinda on her appointment. She has a strong background in the pharmaceutical sector generally, and GMiA, specifically.
"It is a critically important time for the pharmaceutical sector as it faces a number of challenges as well as new opportunities. Belinda's background places her in an ideal position to play a leadership role in the industry.

"ASMI has built a strong relationship with the GMiA over the years. We look forward to working with Belinda in the future," said Dr Schoombie.
